This is probably the project that best defines my aesthetic. I loved building this piece. The incredible Maple and Walnut, the challenging exposed joinery, fitting the fine brass hardware. I look forward to building something like this that pushes me to the limit of my skills again at some point. It remains in our home and I love seeing it every day.

Book-matched quilted Maple and Claro Walnut. Hand-cut, “through” mortis & tenons with maple wedges. Hand-polished with 6 coats of wipe-on poly.
